Eric Fischer
University of Pennsylvania

Eric Fischer graduated with top honors in 2007 from Simsbury High School in Simsbury, CT. While at Simsbury High School, Eric lettered in both Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field, running on a state championship Cross Country team during his senior year. Currently a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, Eric is enrolled in a dual degree program between the School of Engineering and Applied Science and The Wharton School, concentrating in Biomedical Science and Finance, respectively.

During his university years, Eric has continued to explore his interests in finance and the biosciences. As a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Technology Transfer, he has been working on a research project aimed at understanding university technology transfer and IP commercialization with respect to the life sciences sector. Also interested in international economics, Eric has remained actively involved with the Penn World Table at the University of Pennsylvania's Center for International Comparisons.

Outside the classroom, Eric enjoys his time working with other students as a Residential Advisor. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys running and playing soccer.
