Gideon Spitzer

Gideon is originally from Los Angeles, a graduate of Milken Community High School in 2007.  Now a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania double majoring in History and Political Science, Gideon is very glad to be a member of Global Platinum Securities. Gideon began investing at the age of 15, and ever since has had a strong interest in finance. In addition, he has always had a deep-seated interest in real estate and law.  Aside from Global Platinum Securities, Gideon serves as Executive Director for Penn Model Congress (an annual conference attended by over 700 high school students), Senior Writer for Penn Political Review (also known as The Soapbox), and as an appointed member of the of Democratic Party’s 27th Ward Committee in Philadelphia.

Personal interests include persuasive writing, the politics of the Middle East, global security issues, traveling, and martial arts.  Gideon speaks both Hebrew and Spanish, and is a Yellow Belt in Krav Maga (Israeli martial art).
