Maulik Shah

Maulik Shah graduated with honors from Hershey Senior High School in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2007. He is currently a student at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania concentrating in Finance and Accounting.
Maulik developed a passion for investing at a young age and explored this interest through virtual trading in junior and senior high school. He has held internships at Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management as well the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. On campus, Maulik is involved in the Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club as well as the Penn Investment Alliance.
Maulik has an avid interest in language and culture and also plans to earn a certificate in Spanish language from Penn. In 2006, he visited the Doctor Roberto Gilbert Elizalde Children’s Hospital in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Serving as translator for a team of cardiothoracic surgeons, Maulik assisted in the successful completion of 21 surgeries. He aspires to make future use of his language skills, which also include Gujarati, through a position in international markets.
In his time away from work, Maulik enjoys listening to music. His library includes everything from World Music and Techno to the latest in Independent and Alternative Rock. He enjoys reading and lists many financial and non-financial classics among his favorites. Devoted to his family and friends, Maulik always finds pleasure in spending quality time at home.
