Horace Lam
Georgetown University

Horace has been an Analyst in the Consumer Discretionary group since November 2008. Previously, he was a Summer Analyst in the Energy and Basic Materials sectors. At Georgetown, Horace co-founded Campus Fresh, an online grocer that aims to promote three core ideas: health, environment, and community. In April 2007, his team received the Spirit of Entrepreneurship Award at the Talent and Innovation Competition held in Panama. In 2008, Campus Fresh merged with Compass, a student-run nonprofit on Georgetown University that is currently managing 6 social enterprises around DC - including a bike share company, a child sponsorship program for kids in Nicaragua, a scholarship program for an untouchable in India, and others. It has been nominated for an award by the YNPN for the fastest growing student-run non-profit in DC. Horace is also a Principal Partner at Ivy Gate Limited, a fast-growing student network and college counseling firm based in Hong Kong. Besides entrepreneurship, Horace is passionate about investing and real estate. He was previously a Summer Analyst at Phoenix Property Investors, a Real Estate Private Equity Fund in Hong Kong, and also has prior experience at OSK Asia Capital. Horace is a Junior double majoring in Finance and Accounting at Georgetown University.
