John Krebsbach

John Krebsbach's passion for entrepreneurship and finance sprouted from experience with several of his own small ventures in high school and participation in Junior Achievement.
John graduated from Marquette High School in Chesterfield, Missouri with honors. There he was inducted into the National Honor Society and served as Treasurer for the Student Council. In addition to being an AP Scholar, Krebsbach played on the tennis and soccer teams. Outside the classroom, John started a few small businesses and earned the Eagle Scout award with a Bronze Palm.
John Krebsbach attended the University of Dayton in Ohio, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance and Entrepreneurship. At UD John became involved with the Davis Center for Portfolio Management as a freshman intern. He served as the Software Proficiency Associate there during his sophomore year and co-lead a committee for the seventh annual Redefining Investment Strategy Education Forum (R.I.S.E.). In conjunction with the Entrepreneurship curriculum, John formed and operated a micro-company with a small team for the duration of his sophomore year. At the conclusion of his sophomore year, John was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. He is also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. During his junior year John co-founded the Venture Capital & Private Equity Club with fellow GPS member Rob Green. As a senior, Krebsbach was the Consumer Discretionary Sector Leader in GPS. In his Entrepreneurship capstone course, John worked with a team to provide market research and strategy consulting to a local architecture firm. John Krebsbach was also given the School of Business Administration's Entrepreneurship Award of Excellence as a graduating senior.
John’s work experience includes Six Flags St. Louis as an engineering intern, Anheuser-Busch as a Brewery Tour Guide, Lehman Brothers as a summer analyst in investment management, and Aileron as an Associate Client Services Specialist. He is currently an Associate Consultant with TiER1 Performance Solutions near Cincinnati, Ohio.
John remains active in GPS through his involvement with the GPS Alumni Association. Similarly, he is a member of the Davis Center Graduate Association (DCGA). In addition to his business interests, John has volunteered time with Habitat for Humanity, Christmas on Campus at UD, and as a campus tour guide. He also finds time to enjoy racquetball, tennis, water skiing, guitar, and the company of friends.
