Sun-Young Chung
Vice President of Philanthropy
Harvard University

Sun-Young Chung graduated from Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Virginia in 2005 and currently attends Harvard University. As an economics concentrator, Sun-Young is always looking to complement her studies with her passion in business and finance.

On campus, Sun-Young serves as the Advertising Manager of The Harvard Crimson, the undergraduate daily newspaper. A student-run business, The Harvard Crimson generates over $1 million in revenue annually, and Sun-Young has worked to manage all aspects of developing and maintaining relationships with national and local clients. Sun-Young is also a member of Women In Business, Harvard's largest undergraduate association, where she held was the Co-Director of the Corporate Mentorship Program. The Corporate Mentorship Program creates long-term relationships between undergraduate women and business professionals across all industries including finance, consulting, marketing, and public relations for the purpose of career education and development.

Outside of Harvard, Sun-Young worked with the Corporate Executive Board in the summer of 2006 researching ways to streamline technology processes in Fortune 500 companies. In the summer of 2007, Sun-Young took part in the Sophomore Rotational Program at Banc of America Securities where she worked in Healthcare Investment Banking and Institutional Sales. While continuing to work alongside a diverse group of GPS members, Sun-Young enjoys journalism, reading, and exploring new restaurants in Boston.
