Cole Magrath currently works as an investment banking analyst in the Financial Sponsors group of Credit Suisse, where he previously worked as a summer intern during the summer of 2009.
Cole graduated Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business in May 2010 with concentrations in Finance and Accounting as salutatorian of his class. He was also awarded the FMA/Credit Suisse Award for Excellence in Finance and the Accounting Faculty Award for Academic Excellence. While at Georgetown, Cole served as the Chief Investment Officer for the Georgetown University Student Investment Fund. He also represented the McDonough School of Business as a member of the Case Competition Team, competing in an international case competition in Copenhagen, Denmark in March 2010. Additionally, as an undergraduate he co-founded the Hilltop Microfinance Initiative, a student-run nonprofit organization with the mission of making microloans to disadvantaged entrepreneurs in the Washington, DC area.
Prior to working at Credit Suisse, Cole had internships at The Cypress Funds, LLC, a long-short equity hedge fund in Los Angeles, and Massey, Quick, & Co., LLC, a boutique wealth management firm based in Morristown, NJ.
