Roman Smukler graduated from Livingston High School in Livingston, New Jersey in 2005. He currently attends the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, and is majoring in Finance with a minor in Computer Science.

While at Stern Roman continues to grow and develop his passion for finance and investment management. He augments his scholastic education by making visits to the New York Stock Exchange trading floor, religiously watching Bloomberg TV, and holding various internships. In addition, Roman actively participates in the NYU community by serving as a Panel Director for the Stern Summit on Global Business. For the 2006 summit he organized a panel about ethics in the developing world featuring speakers from the UN, Social Accountability International, and Ernst & Young.

In his free time Roman enjoys skiing in knee-deep powder and spending unforgettable times with friends and family.
