Jaymal graduated from King Edward VI Aston School and is currently reading for a BSc in Economics at the London School of Economics.

At high school Jaymal served as the School Vice-Captain, founded an Amnesty International group, stage managed several school drama productions and played basketball in a side which twice reached the English School’s National Finals.

At the LSE Jaymal is Co-President of the LSE Alternative Investments Conference, the world’s largest student conference on Hedge Funds and Private Equity, and acts as a voluntary European Ambassador for a charity, Invisible Children. He has also helped fund raise for LSE’s Culture Show, Timeless.

Jaymal has completed internships and insight programmes at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, HSBC and Price Waterhouse Coopers, and these have collectively fostered his interest in finance, and in particular, Global Markets. He will be returning to intern at Goldman Sachs in Securities in summer 2010.

In his spare time Jaymal enjoys playing the bass guitar, photography, reading and playing basketball. He is also an avid traveller and has completed an expedition to Peru in 2006 and worked at a primary school in Uganda in 2007, in line his passion for development.
