Neeral Gandhi

Neeral Gandhi is a sophomore at Harvard College concentrating in Economics with a secondary field in Health Policy. She graduated valedictorian from Pleasant High School in Marion, Ohio.

This summer, Neeral played an active role in the continued growth of several student-run campus businesses. Her experience with Harvard Tours exposed her to the global nature of Harvard's tourist base. She served as a tour guide and learned first-hand how employees respond to incentives. Neeral applied her personal experiences with customers to craft a marketing strategy for the company's corporate partners. Additionally, Neeral learned about the resilience of the campus niche in the distressed publishing industry by selling advertisements for Harvard Student Agencies.

During the school year, Neeral hones her analytical skills as an attorney/witness on the Harvard Mock Trial team. She also serves as Fundraising Director for Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business, the largest undergraduate group on Harvard's campus with over 400 members. As Fundraising Director, she is currently organizing the 5th Intercollegiate Business Conference. Neeral has also been a part of Harvard University's Veritas Financial Group as a private equity associate, where she studied merger and acquisition activity. Through her involvement with Harvard's First-Year Urban Program, Neeral has been able to actively discuss social issues and volunteer in the Boston community. She also participates in many cultural events on campus.

Through self-study, membership in business organizations, and her study of the GPS investment philosophy, Neeral has developed a passion for finance. She is excited to continue exploring the principles of investing through GPS and future internship opportunities. A daughter of Indian immigrants, Neeral maintains an interest in investment opportunities in Indian and other emerging markets.Besides business and finance, Neeral loves biking, playing tennis, reading, and spending time in the company of friends and family.
